The Zeiss CZ.2 70-200mm T2.9 Compact Zoom Lens is a full-frame cinema zoom lens. The Zeiss 70-200 is a PL Mount lens. However we can convert the lens to Canon EF mount (subject to availability of the mount change kit). This standard-range zoom lens is ideal for motion picture production. For example, the lens offers full-frame (36 x 24 mm) coverage and exhibits no focus shift over the entire zoom range. The cine-style housing features calibrated focus scales and industry standard gearing for focus, iris and zoom. At 25cm long and with a weight of 2.8kg, the CZ.2 70-200mm is relatively compact and lightweight (hence Compact Zoom). This makes it ideal for handheld applications. The lens features a built-in lens support post, with 3/8″ threading for use with available lens supports.
Zeiss Compact Zooms have an anti-reflex coating and internal light traps to suppress flare. In addition, a circular iris renders attractive bokeh. Interchangeable lens mounts are available. Finally, mounting options and 4K ready optics make the 70-200mm Compact Zoom a versatile and future-proof lens.
