The Schneider 138mm Unmounted Circular Polarizer Filter filters out light reflected from a non-metallic surface, helping to reduce reflections and glare. It arranges and filters light reflected from the sun and absorbs it to increase saturation of skies and foliage and reduce glare.
Circular polarizers are better suited to autofocus and exposure functions as it skews light less than a linear polariser.
This non-coated filter delivers approximately 38% average light transmission. The Water White optical glass is used in the construction, and it is 138mm in diameter and unmounted for use in third-party or custom filter holders.
