The Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM lens is the new workhorse zoom lens. It is a versatile wide-angle to portrait-length lens. The constant f/2.8 maximum enables greater control over depth of field.
Balancing the distinguished optical assets is a USM focus system. Consequently the RF 24-70 delivers fast, nearly silent autofocus performance. In addition the lens offers full-time manual focus override. An Image Stabiliser also compensates for up to five stops of camera shake. This results in sharper handheld shots in difficult lighting conditions. An integrated Control Ring provides intuitive control over exposure settings. Additionally, the RF 24-70mm is weather-sealed and has a fluorine coating to protect the front and rear elements.
